Havoc recently sponsored the Mayors Breakfast, held on Friday 19th June. Located at the Octagon, the Mayor was busy cooking up a storm with the help of Havoc bacon AND Havoc bacon sausages! All proceeds from this event are donated to The Food Bank, Dunedin. |

Not only is Havoc Pork sold at our Waimate store and the Dunedin farmers' market, it can also be found on the menu at many top New Zealand restaurants and delicatessens. Our farm, at Hunter, near Waimate, is the only paddock-to-plate pig farm in the country. From 90 sows, running free-range on 20 hectares, our farm produces pork products with a growing reputation for excellence. Our products include bacon, sausages, pickled pork, and the more exotic Fumée, a prosciuto-style product. We produce our bacon using traditional methods - it's hung, then dried in the dry cure room for a week to 10 days, and then smoked. Unlike a lot of bacon on the market, at no stage is water added to the product. Once people taste free range pork and bacon from a boutique producer like Havoc, they will be hard-pressed to go back to generic brands. |
